Welcome to the official website of The Merchantman Pub. Located in one of Charlottetown's beautiful historic properties near the downtown waterfront, its interior features original brick walls, wood beam ceilings and large windows.

The Merchantman Pub is a firm believer in supporting local farmers, fishers, producers and artists. There are many pieces of artwork designed and produced by local artists. Our menu boasts a variety of produce, meats, fish and poultry grown right here on PEI. The taste and flavour of our food is thanks to our PEI farmers and fishermen.

A warm atmosphere, friendly service and a menu including fresh, local PEI produce, meats and seafood make The Merchantman Pub the best Pub in town!

Our new fall menu is here - some pictures are on our Facebook page and there are a few on the website. Come in and check out the new dishes Chef Shirleen and the kitchen crew have dreamed up - unbelievable flavours and new creations!!!! The menus, along with the Pasta Night menu, are posted in PDF format at the bottom of the Pub Menu page, the Appetizers and Mains page and the Desserts and Coffees page.

The Pub will be open until 1:30 p.m. (kitchen closes at 2 p.m.) on Christmas Eve - Saturday, the 24th - and will re-open on Wednesday, December 28th at 11:30 a.m.

After our amazing New Year's Eve Brunch, the Pub will close and re-open on January 4th at 11:30 a.m.

The Galley will close Friday, December 23rd at 3:00 p.m. and re-open January 4th at 8 a.m.
