Welcome to the official website of The Merchantman Pub. Located in one of Charlottetown's beautiful historic properties near the downtown waterfront, its interior features original brick walls, wood beam ceilings and large windows.

The Merchantman Pub is a firm believer in supporting local farmers, fishers, producers and artists. There are many pieces of artwork designed and produced by local artists. Our menu boasts a variety of produce, meats, fish and poultry grown right here on PEI. The taste and flavour of our food is thanks to our PEI farmers and fishermen.

A warm atmosphere, friendly service and a menu including fresh, local PEI produce, meats and seafood make The Merchantman Pub the best Pub in town!

Today is the beginning of a new era at The Merchantman Pub. The new owners, Kevin & Kathy Murphy, are ecstatic about their new endeavour. They are looking forward to meeting our guests and would like to assure you that the Pub is the Pub and it will stay the Pub!!! Our Mother's Day  menu is absolutely wonderful this year. You can see it under "Events" or on the Pub Menu page - just scroll down to the bottom. It features Island Lobster!!
