The Merchantman Pub staff works hard to make your experience in our restaurant is a memorable one.
The front of house staff will treat you like family, making sure your food is served in a timely fashion and that your glass is never empty. Anything you need or want, our servers and bartenders can make it happen. They know our menu inside and out and can answer any questions you may have.
The back of house staff, led by Head Chef Shirleen Peardon, uses as much local produce, meat and fish as they can get their hands on from local farmers. The result is a meal that is made from scratch, fresh in taste and beautifully presented.
In the Galley, staff makes your sandwiches to order, using the freshest ingredients, and they will happily serve you fresh coffee, housemade soups, salads and baked goods.
No matter which part of The Merchantman you choose to dine in - Gooners, The Pub or The Galley - the service from our staff will be superb.
